Hitting the Shops!

It's coming to that time of the year when you're gonna be all frazzled in the middle of the thronging and aggressive crowd of other desperate shoppers in Orchard Road, in some nameless shopping centre on the eve of Christmas, doing exactly what you swore you would not allow to happen this time last year - desperately throwing money around, trying to fill that gaping hole under the Christmas tree with presents...

Well, here's the little reminder you need to fulfill your resolution that this year, this year, you will get your act together and start shopping earlier!

And because we're such *ahem* nice people here at Loot Boutique, we're going to "send Buddha all the way to the West"...

Come on down to the Public Garden Flea Market at MICA Building this weekend (10th and 11th November 2012), from 1pm to 7pm, and pick up some unique gifts for your loved (or not quite so lovable) ones! Loot Boutique will be there to hang out with all the other interesting independent retailers, offering up our range of affordable fashion accessories to savvy shoppers, one and all! We'll be trying our level best not to spend all our time browsing and picking up stuff from our fellow retailers...:P !

We're back from our looting trip, and we have loads of exciting new accessories in store for you in the coming weeks and months!

First off, a couple of sneak peeks at some of the products...

These woven nugget bracelets are gracing the wrists of cool celebrities everywhere, both male and female! Save your pennies for our version of it, coming out soon!

We've also stocked up on loads of different leather bracelets for you to exercise your creativity in making up your own armswag.

And continuing the fluorescent trend into A/W '12, we've got a couple of multi-layer beaded bracelets which will adorn those arms of yours prettily for the party season!

Just this week, Loot Boutique hung out with the friendly people behind the Ureka team at Singapore Polytechnic. If you don't know this already, Ureka manages the review website here, where you can leave your comments on all things under the sun! Of particular interest to us is, of course, the section related to online shopping experience from blogshops.

We've all been there, wondering if the shopping experience with a particular online shop we're interested in purchasing something from would live up to our expectations, in terms of quality of products, responsiveness and reliability of sellers, and speed of despatch of purchased items. Well, those clever folks at Ureka have just the place for you to help others like yourself convey your shopping experience to others who may be in the same dilemma as you!

As blogshop owners, we would also welcome and value feedback from our customers to improve our products and services, and hopefully hit the right spot when it comes to giving you what you want!

With active participation from all, we could build up a community database, helping each other with our shopping experience at various blogshops and online retail websites (amongst other brick-and-mortar shops, of course).
